Weekend in Kerala

Arrival in Kochi Airport. Meet and Greet with Santos King representative and transfer to hotel. Optional Sunset Cruise in Marine Drive in the evening. Overnight stay at Kochi.

Morning drive to Alappuzha (2.5 hours drive). Check-in to your floating houseboat (Kettuvallam), boat with bedroom and en-suite rest room for your comfort. Enjoy unlimited cruising on backwaters, sip a coconut, get disturbed by only the chirping of birds and occasional ripples in water and savor mouthwatering delicacies prepared in front of you by your kitchen crew. Overnight stay in Houseboat.

Morning check-out from Houseboat and drive to Kochi. Enjoy Kochi sightseeing with visit to the Dutch Palace(Mattancherry Palace), built by the Portuguese and presented to the Raja of Cochin “Veera Kerala Varma”, Jewish Synagogue, where scrolls of the Old Testament and copper plates inscribed in Hebrew script are preserved , Jews Street, St. Francis Church, built in 1503, the oldest European church in India where the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama’s body was originally buried, Santa Cruz Basilica, the Roman Catholic church with beautiful paintings on the ceiling, Chinese fishing nets and the Indo-Portuguese Museum. Evening Transfer to Kochi airport.
