Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred for your Kuching City Tour combined with a shopping experience. Discover Kuching, the charming capital of Sarawak, where history meets modernity through its unique blend of architecture and culture. Explore iconic landmarks such as the Old Kuching City Mosque, Tua Pek Kong Temple, Square Tower, Astana, Fort Margherita, Sarawak State Legislative Assembly, and the striking Golden Bridge. Keep an eye out for the famous cat statues scattered throughout the city, a symbol of Kuching’s identity. The tour continues through vibrant local markets, Main Bazaar, Chinatown, and the renowned Borneo Cultures Museum. Later, proceed to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before proceeding to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, where you may observe orangutans roaming freely within their 653-hectare forest reserve. Watch them in their natural habitat as they build nests and display their acrobatic movements, while learning about their behavior from an experienced guide.

Continue to the Crocodile Farm & Mini Zoo, home to over 1,000 crocodiles along with a variety of wildlife including bearcats, pythons, peacocks, otters, and the impressive Arapaima Gigas, the world’s largest freshwater fish.

In the evening, enjoy the Sarawak Sunset River Cruise, offering beautiful views of Kuching’s riverside landmarks such as the Waterfront, Brooke Dockyard, and Fort Margherita, all set against a stunning sunset backdrop.

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before visiting the Sarawak Cultural Village, also known as the “Living Museum.” Explore authentic replicas of seven ethnic houses, including the Chinese Farm House, Malay Stilted House, and Iban Longhouses. Discover traditional artifacts and enjoy live demonstrations of beadwork, woodcarving, and weaving, along with vibrant cultural performances at the Village Theatre.

Continue to the Cat Museum, established in 1993 by Kuching North City Hall, showcasing over 2,000 cat-related exhibits from around the world.

Later, proceed for a shopping tour where you can explore local handicrafts such as handmade souvenirs, woodcarvings, pua kumbu textiles, Sarawak pottery, edible bird’s nest, and pepper spice presented in charming ceramic cat figurines. Do not miss a visit to a Kek Lapis bakery to try and purchase the famous Sarawak layered cake, perfect as gifts.

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a Bako National Park Day Trip. Established in 1957, Bako National Park is Sarawak’s oldest national park and one of its most popular destinations for experiencing the region’s diverse forests and wildlife. Located approximately 37 km from Kuching, the journey takes around one and a half hours by road and boat.

Covering approximately 2,727 hectares, Bako offers an excellent introduction to Sarawak’s natural environment, with diverse vegetation, jungle streams, cascading waterfalls, intriguing plant life, trekking trails, and a scenic coastline dotted with small bays, coves, and beaches.

The park is home to fascinating wildlife, including proboscis monkeys, long-tailed macaques, Bornean bearded pigs, and monitor lizards. The landscape ranges from almost desert-like scrub known as “padang” on the plateau to lush lowland dipterocarp forests.

Enjoy lunch at Bako Park Café before returning to Kuching. Upon arrival, return to the hotel and rest.

After breakfast, proceed to visit the Fairy Cave, renowned for its impressive three-storey limestone formation and spectacular stalactites and stalagmites beautifully illuminated by natural sunlight.

Continue to the Wind Cave, a fascinating tunnel-like cavern home to bats and swiftlets, where you may also spot swiftlet nests within the cave system.

Next, visit Tasik Biru, once Sarawak’s largest gold mining site and now transformed into a scenic lake. Enjoy its serene surroundings, with optional boat rides (own expense), a floating bridge, lush greenery, striking rock formations, and abundant fish.

Proceed to Paku Rock Maze Garden, a unique stone landscape featuring natural rock formations such as the “Golden Hoop” and a miniature “Five Fingers Mountain.”

Return to the hotel for rest and relaxation.
