Arrival at Chiang Rai International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and some rest.

Welcome to Chiang Rai, Thailand’s northernmost province, known for its beautiful mountain landscapes, distinctive temples, rich Lanna heritage, tea plantations, and fascinating border culture. In the evening, explore the vibrant Chiang Rai Night Bazaar, where you can discover local handicrafts, souvenirs, traditional food, and cultural performances.

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour beginning with the spectacular Wat Rong Khun (White Temple), one of Chiang Rai’s most famous landmarks, renowned for its intricate white architecture and contemporary Buddhist art.

Continue to Wat Rong Suea Ten (Blue Temple), famous for its striking blue-and-gold interiors and beautiful Lanna-inspired artwork. Later, visit Wat Huay Pla Kang, known for its impressive giant Buddha statue and panoramic views.

Continue to Baan Dam Museum (Black House), an artistic complex created by Thai national artist Thawan Duchanee, featuring distinctive Lanna-style buildings and a fascinating collection of artworks.

After breakfast, proceed towards the famous Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet around the Mekong River. Visit the Golden Triangle viewpoint and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Continue to Mae Sai, Thailand’s northernmost town, located along the Thai–Myanmar border. Explore the local market and experience the unique atmosphere of this important border town.

Later, visit the Hall of Opium, which offers an informative insight into the history of the opium trade and its impact on the Golden Triangle region, subject to opening days and operating hours.

After breakfast, explore the scenic countryside of Chiang Rai with a visit to Choui Fong Tea Plantation, one of the region’s most famous tea-growing areas. Enjoy the beautiful terraced tea fields stretching across the mountain slopes and experience the peaceful atmosphere of the plantation.

Continue to Singha Park, a vast scenic agricultural and recreational area surrounded by tea plantations, gardens, and rolling hills. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and leisure surroundings before returning to Chiang Rai.
