After breakfast, depart Zurich on a scenic journey through some of Switzerland’s most beautiful regions. Stop in Appenzell to explore its charming Old Town and admire the historic 16th-century Town Hall.

Continue to the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein and visit its capital, Vaduz. Travel through picturesque Heidiland and the Rhine Valley before ascending the spectacular Julier Pass into the canton of Grisons (Graubünden), renowned for its breathtaking alpine scenery.

Arrive in St. Moritz, one of Switzerland’s most famous mountain resorts, where you will spend the next two nights surrounded by spectacular Alpine landscapes.

Enjoy a full day to explore St. Moritz and the beautiful Engadin Valley at your own pace. Surrounded by forests, lakes, and majestic mountains, St. Moritz is one of Switzerland’s most renowned alpine resorts.

Take time to enjoy the stunning alpine scenery and relaxed atmosphere of this iconic Swiss resort.

After breakfast, experience one of Europe’s most spectacular railway journeys aboard the Bernina Express. Board the train in St. Moritz and travel across the magnificent Bernina Pass, passing through the scenic Poschiavo region and continuing into Italy.

Arrive in Tirano, located in the Valtellina valley, where you will rejoin your coach and continue your journey through the beautiful Italian and Swiss landscapes towards the shores of Lake Lugano.

After breakfast, explore the charming Lugano, known for its beautiful lakeside setting and subtropical atmosphere. Continue towards Lake Maggiore, one of Italy’s most scenic lakes.

An optional boat trip offers the opportunity to visit Isola Bella, a beautiful garden island famous for its magnificent palace. Later, return to Switzerland via the picturesque Simplon Pass and continue towards your overnight destination in the shadow of the majestic Matterhorn.

Overnight in Zermatt or Täsch.

After breakfast, enjoy time to explore car-free Zermatt, reached by an alpine train from Täsch. Stroll through the charming village, discover local shops, or sample Swiss specialties such as raclette, fondue, and handmade chocolate.

For those looking for spectacular mountain views, an optional journey on the Gornergrat Railway offers panoramic vistas of the Matterhorn and surrounding Alps. Later, return to Täsch and continue by coach through the vineyards and apricot groves of the Lower Rhône Valley towards the shores of beautiful Lake Geneva.

Alternatively, venture to Geneva, a cosmopolitan city known for international organizations, the famous Jet d’Eau, watchmaking, chocolate, elegant shopping streets, and picturesque lakeside promenades.

After breakfast, depart the Lake Geneva area and travel to picturesque Gruyères, where you will visit a local cheese factory and discover the traditions behind Switzerland’s famous cheeses.

Continue to Bern, Switzerland’s charming capital, and explore its historic Old Town, known for medieval architecture, covered arcades, artistic fountains, and the famous Zytglogge Clock Tower.

Continue your scenic journey along the shores of Lake Thun to Interlaken, a renowned resort beautifully situated between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. After your visit, cross the Brünig Pass and continue to Lucerne, your final destination for the day.
