Itinerary
Arrival at Amritsar Airport / Railway Station. Meet and greet with our representative, followed by a scenic transfer to Dalhousie (6 hours drive).
Nestled amidst the majestic Dhauladhar mountain ranges, Dalhousie is one of Himachal Pradesh’s most charming hill stations. Named after Lord Dalhousie, the British Viceroy of India, the town is known for its colonial-era architecture, pine-clad valleys, pleasant climate, and breathtaking mountain views. Situated at an altitude of approximately 7,500 feet above sea level, Dalhousie offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, tranquility, and old-world charm.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, you may explore the local attractions of Dalhousie, including Mall Road, Satdhara Springs, Gandhi Chowk, and Subhash Baoli.

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Khajjiar, a picturesque hill station located about 22 km from Dalhousie and popularly known as the “Mini Switzerland of India” for its lush green meadows, dense forests, and stunning mountain scenery.
En route, visit Dainkund Peak, the highest point in Dalhousie, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and snow-capped mountains. Continue to the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary, a serene forest reserve known for its rich flora and fauna and scenic walking trails.
Upon arrival in Khajjiar, visit the beautiful Khajjiar Lake, surrounded by cedar forests and rolling meadows. Explore the ancient Khajji Nag Temple and the nearby Shiva Temple, both of which reflect the region’s rich cultural heritage. You may also enjoy optional activities such as pony riding and adventure sports around the lake area (at your own expense).
Later, return to Dalhousie and visit Panjpulla, a popular picnic spot known for its natural beauty, waterfalls, and historic significance.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Dharamshala (120 Kms. / 4 Hrs.), one of Himachal Pradesh’s most picturesque and spiritually significant destinations. Nestled amidst the scenic Dhauladhar mountain range, Dharamshala is renowned for its serene landscapes, Tibetan culture, and as the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Upon arrival, embark on a sightseeing tour of McLeod Ganj, often referred to as “Little Lhasa” due to its strong Tibetan influence. Visit the revered Dalai Lama Temple, the ancient Bhagsunag Temple, and the beautiful Bhagsu Waterfall. Continue to Dal Lake, Naddi View Point, Kangra Art Museum, and the War Memorial, each offering unique insights into the region’s culture, history, and natural beauty. You may also visit local churches, Sunset Point, and other attractions around the town.
The evening is free for leisure, allowing you to explore the local markets, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, or simply relax amidst the tranquil mountain atmosphere.

Proceed with check out from the hotel and enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Dharamshala. Visit the renowned Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium, one of the most picturesque cricket grounds in the world, set against the backdrop of the majestic Dhauladhar mountains. Continue to the lush Tea Gardens, where sprawling plantations and refreshing mountain air create a serene and scenic atmosphere.
Later, proceed on a drive to Amritsar (210 Kms. / 7 Hrs), the cultural and spiritual heart of Punjab. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.
In the evening, visit the magnificent Golden Temple, the holiest shrine of Sikhism and one of India’s most revered spiritual landmarks. Admire its stunning golden architecture, peaceful surroundings, and the sacred Amrit Sarovar that surrounds the temple.
The remainder of the evening is at leisure for relaxation or independent exploration.

Enjoy a full-day excursion in Amritsar, discovering its rich spiritual and historical heritage. Begin with a visit to the sacred Mata Temple and the magnificent Durgiana Temple, also known as the “Silver Temple” for its stunning architecture and religious importance.
Continue to Jallianwala Bagh, a historic memorial that commemorates a significant chapter in India’s freedom struggle. Later, proceed to the Wagah Border, the international boundary between India and Pakistan, to witness the famous Beating Retreat Ceremony held at sunset, showcasing patriotic energy and coordinated drills.
In the evening, explore the bustling local markets of Amritsar, renowned for traditional handicrafts, textiles, and vibrant street food culture.
