Itinerary
Welcome to Kolkata, the cultural capital of India, where colonial charm meets vibrant traditions, bustling markets, and timeless heritage. Upon arrival at Kolkata Airport, our representative/driver will warmly welcome you and transfer you comfortably to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. The rest of the day is at leisure to unwind after your journey or explore the nearby surroundings at your own pace, soaking in the city’s unique old-world charm and lively atmosphere.

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Kolkata, the cultural capital of India, showcasing its rich colonial heritage, spiritual landmarks, and iconic cityscapes. Begin with a drive past the historic Eden Gardens Stadium, Akashvani Bhavan, High Court, GPO, and the majestic Writers’ Building, reflecting the city’s British-era legacy. Continue to the iconic Howrah Bridge, one of the busiest cantilever bridges in the world, offering stunning views of the Hooghly River.
Later, visit the serene Belur Math and Dakshineswar Kali Temple, two important spiritual centers known for their peaceful ambiance and architectural beauty. Drive across Vivekananda Setu and, if time permits, visit the Jain Temple (optional) and Town Hall (Kolkata Panorama) to experience Kolkata’s cultural depth. Conclude your day with visits to St. Paul’s Cathedral Church and the magnificent Victoria Memorial Hall, a symbol of Kolkata’s royal past.
Return to the hotel by evening. Overnight stay at Kolkata.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
Upon arrival at Bagdogra International Airport (IXB), you will be greeted by our representative and proceed towards Gangtok (5,500 ft.), a scenic drive of 128 kms (5 hours) through beautiful landscapes and winding mountain roads.
On arrival in Gangtok, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing and soaking in the peaceful Himalayan surroundings.

After breakfast, proceed for an exciting excursion to the pristine Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft., 37 km / approx. 2 hrs from Gangtok), a high-altitude glacial lake surrounded by breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. Continue your journey further to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft., 16 km / 1 hr from Tsomgo Lake), a revered shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, set amidst serene mountain views.
By evening, return back to Gangtok and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Note:
• For Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir permits, 02 passport size photographs along with photocopy of a valid photo ID proof (Passport / Driving License / Voter ID) are required. (PAN Card & Aadhaar Card are not accepted). For children below 18 years, a Birth Certificate / School ID / College ID is mandatory. Original ID must be carried during travel.
• In case of landslide or any other unforeseen circumstances resulting in closure of Tsomgo Lake, an alternative sightseeing will be arranged.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Darjeeling (6,950 ft.) (100 Kms / 4 hours drive), a picturesque hill station renowned for its lush tea gardens, colonial charm, and panoramic views of the Himalayas.
On arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing amidst the cool mountain air or exploring the nearby surroundings at your own pace. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Early in the morning around 4:00 AM, proceed for a memorable visit to Tiger Hill (subject to availability of permit/token), to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga and the Himalayan range. After the visit, return to the hotel.
After breakfast at around 8:30 AM, begin your full-day sightseeing tour of Darjeeling covering the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, and the famous Darjeeling Ropeway offering panoramic valley views. Continue to the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sunday), followed by an outer view of the lush Tea Gardens and a visit to the serene Japanese Temple.
Evening is free for shopping or leisure at Mall Road.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed with your departure transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra International Airport (IXB) for your onward journey, carrying beautiful memories of your trip.
